Jon Maeyaert started Sunshine Sprinkler Systems in 1986 with a straightforward idea: do good work, use good materials, and treat every customer the way you would want to be treated. Nearly four decades later, that is still how the company runs.
Today Jon is joined by his son Sam as VP, and Jolene manages the office. When you call in, you reach Jolene. When Jon comes to your property, he comes himself. There are no subcontractors, no rotating crews. The people you meet are the people who do the work.
Sunshine is not affiliated with any single brand, which means Jon and Sam pick the products they actually believe in, not whatever a franchise tells them to sell.

Jon comes to your property, walks every inch of it, and designs a system around what's actually there — your soil, your slope, your water pressure, your zones. You get a detailed estimate and a clear plan before anything is scheduled. No pressure, no guesswork.
Your crew is there from start to finish. When they leave, the system is running, every head is adjusted, and you know exactly how to operate it. No subcontractors, no half-finished days, no coming back later to wrap up.
Broken head, stuck zone, controller on the fritz — Jon diagnoses it and fixes it right. Because Sunshine designed and installed most of the systems they service, they already know how everything is supposed to run. Repairs are faster and more accurate when the same people did the original work.
Irrigation systems need attention at both ends of the season. Sunshine handles spring start-ups — pressure checks, head adjustments, controller programming — and fall blowouts to clear lines before the ground freezes. Mid-summer check-ins are available for systems that need them.
